The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR™) is the state assessment the students will take in April.  I will be posting links to any practice or study guides  when they become available from the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

STAAR Test Dates

  • Monday, March 30, 2015:  Math STAAR Test
  • Tuesday, May 31, 2015:  Reading STAAR Test
  • Wednesday, April 22, 2014:  Science STAAR Test

Your child MUST pass the Reading STAAR test this year!  If they do not pass the first administration, they must retake the test.  These are the retest dates:


  • Tuesday, May 12, 2015:  Reading Retest #1
  • Tuesday, June 23, 2015:  Reading Retest #2 (summer school)
